Peaches x Pixel Grip x IDLES – You’re Alright (Pixel Grip Remix featuring Joe Talbot)

“When Peaches calls and asks about a remix, of course you answer and say yes.” That’s literally how the Chicago trio Pixel Grip explained how this happened. The song being reworked is “You’re Alright,” from Peaches’ “No Lube So Rude,” her first album in a decade out now via Kill Rock Stars. Joe Talbot of IDLES already featured on the original version of the track, and he’s still on this one: Pixel Grip’s rework pushes the song into their Chicago house scene, and it premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music.

This follows the video for the original “You’re Alright,” directed by Oscar-shortlisted filmmaker Agniia Galdanova and co-starring Peaches alongside performance artist Jenna Marvin, released via Nowness last week. Peaches is currently touring North America and Latin America after a run of sold-out international dates earlier this year, and in April she released her debut film score for Netflix’s “Big Mistakes” with Grammy-winning composer Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum.
