Mogwai – Lion Rumpus

Scottish post-rock veterans Mogwai announce their eleventh studio album, “The Bad Fire”, marking their first collaboration with producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Angel Olsen). Following personal hardships and loss, including serious illness in Barry’s family, the band found solace in creating this record, set for release January 24th, 2025, via Rock Action/Temporary Residence Ltd.

The new single “Lion Rumpus” arrives with a video directed by Antony Crook (who helmed their documentary “If The Stars Had A Sound”), following Glasgow native Lawrence “Larry” Wilson’s life as a New York dog walker.
