Dylan Dylan – City Nights (ft. Chris Sam)

Walking home alone through the city after dark: confident for the first few streets, then lonely, then not quite steady on your feet. “City Nights” follows that walk. Chris Sam plays the man doing it, sinking further into his head with every block, and Dylan Dylan builds the UK garage track around him so the beat goes wrong as his mood does. The drum patterns continue to shift, the structure won’t settle, and his vocal gets more and more distorted as the night goes on. Out now on Pont Neuf Records, with a visualiser by Neurotypique.
