Los Bitchos feat. Sinkane & Adrian Quesada – Hang Up (Pt 2)

Los Bitchos are back with “Hang Up (Pt 2)”, a collaboration with Adrian Quesada (Black Pumas, Brownout) and Sinkane, and it doubles as the first preview of their next album. The London-based band have always run on cultural collision, Serra Petale’s Australian-Turkish background, Josefine Jonsson’s Swedish basslines, Nic Crawshaw on drums, and this single leans all the way into that. It’s a bright, funk-driven track: tight guitar lines, a rhythm that won’t sit still, and soul flourishes from Quesada folded into the band’s usual technicolour instrumental world. Sinkane’s groove-heavy approach and harmonies slot in like they were always meant to be there.

The album (details still under wraps) is being framed around collaboration and global exchange, with the band putting it plainly: “If we don’t learn from each other, we can’t progress”. “Hang Up (Pt 2)” is the proof of concept, and it works because the guests expand the party rather than crowd it.

I’ll admit I wondered whether adding vocals would dull what makes them fun, but this keeps every bit of the party intact.
