Jaime Rosso – Walk
Jaime Rosso is a Margate-based producer whose second EP, Keep Stepping!, is due September 11th on Domino. “Walk” is the first single, and it arrives with a self-directed video. His debut Away (2025) was rooted in rural Kent; this one is explicitly urban, drawing on South London soundsystem culture and the particular energy of summer in the city. Rosso describes the EP as an ode to daily rituals, walking, talking, dancing, dreaming, as small but reliable sources of forward momentum. The track bears that out: bright melodies over a groove that stays optimistic without overselling itself. It’s the kind of thing that sounds like it knows exactly what it wants to do and does it without making a fuss.
