Disclosure – Arachnids

Just in time for Halloween, Disclosure presents “Arachnids”. Guy Lawrence crafted this track as an experimental journey, where the beats mimic the movement of mechanical spiders. The production emerged from what Lawrence calls “an ever-evolving creative puzzle”, pushing the boundaries of a single drum loop across multiple genres. Instead of making a conventional dance track, he challenged himself with questions like “Can the kick be the bassline?” and “Do I need more than one chord?”. While you won’t find yourself singing along, the track serves as an audio diary of Lawrence’s current production capabilities, released ahead of their Friends & Family event at Manchester’s Warehouse Project.
