“Measuring Cup” runs on sharp guitar stabs and Rebecca Allan’s sardonic vocal, a buzzing post-punk cut about the constant checking of who someone is, what they stand for and whether they belong with you. The band don’t treat that vetting as a bad thing: the hard part is staying open to people who see the world differently, and the payoff is finding the ones who line up with you, politically, socially or just personally.

It opens Zone 3, their third album, recorded in twelve days at York Street Studios in Melbourne with producer Dan Luscombe and engineer Stefan Blair, out February 26, 2027 on Heavenly Recordings. Sneers on the surface, waves you in underneath. Hard to resist.
