Mynolia – Holy Line
“Holy Line” is the latest single from Mynolia debut album “Salt Around My Bed,” due January 15, 2027 on Full Time Hobby, following earlier songs “Needle” in May and “Run Like Hell.” She’s now based in Nashville, and brought the record to ambient jazz musician Rich Ruth to co-produce, with a wide cast of contributors filling it out: Full Time Hobby labelmate Spencer Cullum on pedal steel, Corin Droullard on horns, backing vocals from her friend Taylor Wafford of Blood Root, and bass from her husband, Charles Michael Parks Jr. of All Them Witches.
Mynolia says the song “emerged almost fully from a vivid, bittersweet dream,” and what I like is how unresolved she leaves the line between the dream and something that actually happened to her. The song isn’t about getting something back so much as realizing you might have had it the whole time without noticing.
