Koralle & Yawuh – Shangri-La (feat. Lorenzo Morresi)
Bologna’s Koralle and Yawuh have crafted something peacefully marvellous with ‘Shangri-La’, a track from their upcoming album ‘Primo Quarto’. This isn’t just another jazz-hip hop fusion – it’s what happens when two producers turn a flat building into a creative harbour.
The track borrows its name from the mythical Tibetan utopia, and there’s something genuinely utopian about how these elements come together. Lorenzo Morresi’s guitar work weaves through the arrangement like mist through dawn.
What makes ‘Shangri-La’ special isn’t its components, but how they sound together. The production feels lived-in rather than constructed, capturing that late-night Bologna energy where jazz bleeds into hip-hop and nobody’s checking the time.
This is soul jazz for people who understand that the best grooves happen after midnight, when the city settles and the music can finally stretch out.
The full album ‘Primo Quarto’ drops October 24, 2025.
