Beach Fossils – Inside Out
Beach Fossils have opened 2025 with a nod to slowcore history, delivering a captivating cover of Duster’s 1998 track “Inside Out.”
Their take on “Inside Out” maintains the introspective warmth of the original while adding a polished, high-definition edge that’s uniquely their own.
Beach Fossils’ version of “Inside Out” unfolds as a woozy, atmospheric experience. Dustin Payseur’s soft vocals, supported by Jack Doyle Smith (bass), Tommy Davidson (guitar), and Anton Hochheim (drums), glide over shimmering guitars that stretch the track’s brevity into something timeless. The result is a dreamier rendition that makes slowcore feel simultaneously nostalgic and modern.
What’s next for Beach Fossils? Whether this is the start of a new chapter or simply a creative interlude, the band continues to captivate listeners with their artistry.
