Shabaka – Timepieces ft. Billy Woods

Shabaka continues his productive year with “Timepieces”, featuring billy woods, the opening track from his upcoming EP “Possession”. Set for digital release on December 6 via Impulse! Records, this new project follows his recent work “Perceive Its Beauty, Acknowledge Its Grace”.

The EP promises an impressive lineup of collaborators, including woods’ Armand Hammer partner Elucid, jazz luminaries Esperanza Spalding and Nduduzo Makhathini, alongside Brandee Younger, Carlos Niño, and Jason Moran.

“Timepieces” represents another step in Shabaka’s musical journey, combining his distinctive jazz sensibilities with woods’ narrative prowess.
