Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith & Joe Goddard – Neptunes

Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Joe Goddard of Hot Chip have teamed up for a new EP called “Neptunes,” set to release on November 22 via Smugglers Way. Goddard’s rhythm was inspired by the production duo the Neptunes, while Smith took it in a more cosmic direction, thinking of the planet Neptune. The result is a spacey, rhythmic track that showcases both artists’ strengths. The song comes with a quirky, mollusk-filled video directed by Aron Sanchez-Baranda. This collaboration follows Smith’s 2022 album “Let’s Turn It Into Sound” and Goddard’s recent solo release “Harmonics.”
