Half Waif – The Museum

Half Waif – The Museum

Half Waif is preparing for the release of her new album ‘See You At The Maypole’, set to drop on October 4th via ANTI-. Her latest single ‘The Museum’ comes with a video directed by Derrick Belcham. The song explores the contrast between preservation and global crisis, inspired by a local Shaker art museum. Half Waif reflects on the contradiction of creating museums and starting families while facing environmental challenges. She questions the idea of building for the future in a world that seems to be falling apart. ‘The Museum’ follows previous singles ‘Figurine’, ‘Heartwood’, ‘Big Dipper’, and ‘Ephemeral Being’, giving listeners a taste of what to expect from the upcoming album.
