Half Waif – Figurine

Half Waif’s new single “Figurine” offers a glimpse into her upcoming album “See You At The Maypole,” set for release on October 4th via ANTI RECORDS.

Nandi Rose, the artist behind Half Waif, crafted this song during a challenging period in her life after diffucult health complications. The experience unfolded during a bleak winter, both literally and metaphorically.

“Figurine” captures the essence of perseverance in the face of immobility. The album as a whole seems to explore finding light amidst personal darkness. Rose grappled with embracing life even when it diverged from her expectations.
