Nabihah Iqbal – Heaven Can Wait

A full band, one big live room, everybody playing at once: that’s how Nabihah Iqbal recorded “Heaven Can Wait”, her first track made with a band, and the real-time push of it carries the whole song. Heavy pop with new wave textures, written in a small basement studio in Manhattan’s East Village and shaped by summers spent with friends in London and New York.

Her first new music in three years, and her first for Ghostly International after two albums on Ninja Tune. A song about being happy with the people around you, sung without a trace of irony.
