Flowers Must Die – Nåja
Flowers Must Die cut “Nåja” nine years ago, in March 2017, at Silence Studios in Koppom, the Värmland outpost near the Norwegian border that gave classic Swedish psych records by Bo Hansson, Kebnekajse, Träd Gräs & Stenar and Älgarnas Trädgård their sound.
The album those sessions produced, Tystnad, arrives September 25 through Rocket Recordings, in the band’s twentieth-anniversary year. Two tracks from the same sessions already surfaced this year on the self-released EP Stormen Före Lugnet, credited to a wider ensemble that folded in sitar, saxophone, flute, organ and percussion around the core band. “Nåja” is the first piece pulled from the main album itself.
