Girl and Girl – Hell
Girl and Girl have shared two new singles at once, “Hell” and “It’s Dead”, their first new material since 2025’s “Okay” and “The Cow” and their 2024 debut full-length Call A Doctor, which Rolling Stone Australia once called “emotional mayhem that’s relatable and very catchy.” Both are out now on Sub Pop.
“It’s Dead” comes with an official video directed by Alexandros Kalas, and frontman Kai Aubort’s framed the song as him finally dropping the subtlety. “We’re always hinting at death in our music, talking about it in such roundabout ways,” he’s said, “so I thought it was about time I just came out and said it.” It’s a blunt title for a band that’s apparently been circling the subject for a while without naming it directly.
The pair of singles arrives alongside a seven-date Australian run, the band’s first domestic tour news in this batch, kicking off in Coolangatta and working down the east coast through Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Byron Bay, and the Gold Coast.
