Tiga x Piero Pirupa – Love Don’t Dance Here Anymore (Extended Mix)

Outside his HOTLIFE campaign on Turbo, Tiga has paired up with Italian tech house producer Piero Pirupa for “Love Don’t Dance Here Anymore (Extended Mix)”, out on Armada Music. We’ve covered Tiga’s Montreal-rooted output across FRICTION (W11) and the HOTLIFE run, and this sits in different territory: Pirupa is a fixture of the European tech house and techno circuit, and the combination makes sense on paper.

The track lives up to its extended mix billing: droning, patient, built to hold a floor. The title’s resignation, love that no longer dances here, is a decent frame for what the production does, which is sustain a mood rather than chase a peak. Nothing here is trying to surprise you. Sometimes that’s exactly what a room needs, and these two know how to deliver it.
