The Smile – Bodies Laughing

The Smile, featuring Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, is set to release their second album of 2024, “Cutouts”, on October 4th via XL Recordings. They’ve just dropped the final single, “Bodies Laughing,” which serves as the album’s closing track. The song blends an acoustic groove with a playful bass line and Yorke’s distinctive vocal melody, evoking elements of Radiohead’s “Knives Out” and “A Moon Shaped Pool.” It’s a tantalizing preview of what’s to come on the full album.
