Joe Armon-Jones – Another Place (feat. Greentea Peng & Wu-Lu)

Joe Armon-Jones isn’t one to sit still. Fresh off All The Quiet (Part I), he’s back with “Another Place,” bringing Greentea Peng and Wu-Lu along for a track that somehow sounds like an old-school duet beamed in from a slightly weirder future.

Built on his deep jazz background (thanks, Tomorrow’s Warriors) but bending genres like it’s no big deal, Armon-Jones lets Greentea and Wu-Lu’s completely unique voices collide and complement each other across a layered production.

The keys are rich without showing off, the beat floats without getting lazy, and the voices — rough, smooth, and everything in between — keep the whole thing feeling alive. Instead of chasing perfection, “Another Place” feels like it embraces all the tension and beauty of bringing different worlds together in the same room.

Joe’s instincts as a collaborator are the real trick here: knowing when to push, when to step back, and when just to let it all breathe. If All The Quiet (Part II) keeps this balance, it won’t just continue the story — it might just move it somewhere new without even pretending to try hard.
