Heartworms – Warplane

Heartworms’ new track “Warplane” is something else. Jojo Orme’s really pushing the envelope here, going way beyond what you’d expect from London’s post-punk scene.

The beat’s got this urgency to it, kinda like those indie-disco bangers from the early 2000s, but with a darker twist. Dan Carey’s production keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time.

But it’s Orme’s voice that really gets you. There’s this haunting quality to it, especially in the harmonies.

“Warplane” sets the bar high for Heartworms’ upcoming album “Glutton For Punishment”. Orme’s definitely not playing it safe, and I’m here for it.
