Sleater-Kinney – This Time

Sleater-Kinney just dropped “This Time,” another track from the “upcoming” deluxe edition of their album “Little Rope”. It follows last month’s release of “Here Today.” The band says “This Time” was the last song written for the record but didn’t make the final cut as they aimed for a tighter 10-track album. They describe it as being “about a person reaching the limits of denial” and say it touches on themes of loss and its aftermath, which are central to “Little Rope.” While it didn’t fit the original album’s structure, fans now get to hear this additional piece of Sleater-Kinney’s creative process.
