Jagged Baptist Club – You Are a Dog
Jagged Baptist Club, the alt-rock outfit from Los Angeles, just dropped a new track called “You Are a Dog”, and this is the kind of song that grabs you from the start and doesn’t let go.
The track kicks off with this quirky keyboard riff that sets the tone for the whole song. It’s like the keyboard’s throwing down a challenge to the rest of the band, saying “catch me if you can”. The guitar comes in with this grungy sound that adds a whole new layer to the track.
Jagged Baptist Club has been evolving their sound with each album. Their debut “Reptile Super Show” came out in 2019, followed by “Temptation Death House” in 2021. With each release, they’ve been refining their style, adding more electronic elements to their alt-rock base.
This track is part of their upcoming album “Physical Surveillance”, which is set to drop on November 15th via Nice Swan Records.
