Porridge Radio – Sick Of The Blues

Porridge Radio has just dropped a new single called “Sick Of The Blues”. It’s part of their upcoming album “Clouds In The Sky They Will Always Be There For You”, set to release on October 18th, 2024.

This track comes after a pretty intense period for the band. They’ve been going non-stop since 2014, and 2022 was their busiest year yet. The lead singer, Dana Margolin, talks about hitting a wall of exhaustion and sadness after all that touring. It sounds like she really needed to take a step back and figure some things out.

The new album seems to be really personal. Dana mentions it’s about “frenetic and desperate kind of love” and losing herself in relationships. That’s pretty heavy stuff, and you can hear it in “Sick Of The Blues”.
