Fat Dog – Running

Fat Dog – Running

London’s newest sensation, Fat Dog, has just unleashed “Running,” a single from their eagerly anticipated debut album WOOF., set for a September release via Domino. Known for their electrifying performances, Fat Dog’s latest track encapsulates the madcap energy that has quickly become their trademark. The album, produced by band leader Joe Love alongside renowned producers James Ford and Jimmy Robertson, promises a mix of intense, unfiltered sound that Love describes as “ridiculous” due to his disdain for “sanitized music.”

“Running” itself is a frantic journey through Fat Dog’s unique sound, building up over five minutes of increasing intensity. Accompanied by a music video directed by Stephen Agnew, which playfully hints at the band’s mock-cultic origins, the track showcases Fat Dog’s ability to blend chaos with catchy, impactful music. This new release follows their earlier singles, “All The Same” and “King Of The Slugs,” setting high expectations for their full album.

As Joe Love puts it, the album doesn’t fully capture the wildness in his head but still pushes boundaries compared to the conventional music scene. WOOF. aims to challenge listeners’ expectations of what music can be, all while providing an unforgettable auditory experience.
