Classic Trucks – Born Naked

“Born Naked” is the new release from Classic Trucks, the solo project of Jarman — drummer and vocalist in Bristol’s Langkamer. Out on Bristol’s Breakfast Records, it’s something he built largely on his terms.

The backstory earns its place here. Jarman bought a guitar on Gumtree for £10 and spent two years teaching himself to play it. No shortcut, no producer handing him a sound.

The DIY origin shows in the best sense — there’s nothing overworked about it. Two years learning an instrument to make one song is either patience or obsession, and the result feels like both.
