Exiter – Flood
Seattle trio Exiter drop “Flood” via Spirit Goth Records, a track from their upcoming debut album Temporary Empty. The band—formed in 2024 by former members of dream-pop band Shimmertraps—brings a more distilled, restless energy to their new project.
“Flood” showcases Exiter’s approach: dynamic guitar-driven arrangements that dissolve into glitched-out ambience or drift into slow-burning introspection. Music that begins in one place and ends somewhere entirely unexpected. The band’s sound has been described as a cassette mixtape left out in the sun—familiar songs slowly melting and stitching into one another in a guitar-laced haze. There’s movement in every track, but never in a straight line.
