Witch Post – Twin Fawn
Witch Post drop “Twin Fawn”, their second single since signing to Partisan Records. The duo of Alaska Reid and Dylan Fraser continue building on the momentum from their breakout EP “Beast”, this time reflecting on memory and nostalgia through West Coast imagery.
Reid describes the song as exploring misremembered times and differing experiences. The production pairs sweeping guitar lines with the interplay of Reid and Fraser’s vocals, maintaining the balance between shadow and light that defined their earlier work. “Twin Fawn” follows “Changeling”, released earlier this year.
The duo formed through an unusual coincidence: Reid and Fraser are from towns sharing the same name, one in Montana and one in Scotland. Reid brings dark atmospherics from the American indie scene, while Fraser adds pop sensibility filtered through warped production choices. That combination helped “Beast” generate significant buzz, including a road block set at The Great Escape.
Witch Post join Partisan Records alongside Geese, Blondshell, and PJ Harvey. The duo is currently touring the UK and Europe, with US dates promised soon.
