Getdown Services – Don’t Cheese Me Off
Bristol duo Getdown Services return with “Don’t Cheese Me Off”, the standout track from their new collection “Crumbs 2”. Josh Law and Ben Sadler have built a cult following with their outlandish alt-pop songs, and this single delivers more of their trademark unpretentious chaos.
“Crumbs 2” gathers demos, rarities and B-sides from the band’s first three years, pulling from sessions for their debut album “Crisps” and the EPs “Your Medal’s In The Post / Primordial Slot Machine”. The collection includes previously released tracks from “Crumbs 1” like “I Got Views” alongside new material aimed squarely at fans and collectors.
The duo’s sold-out UK tour kicks off this autumn, featuring two hometown shows at Bristol’s Trinity Centre. Law and Sadler have earned their reputation for demolishing the internet with each release, turning their two-person operation into a full-scale touring act. “Don’t Cheese Me Off” showcases why they’ve connected with audiences, delivering delirium without pretence.
