Tshegue – Plus de place nulle part

Tshegue’s “Plus de place nulle part” is an absolute banger with a striking video directed by Baptiste Penetticobra, set entirely inside a car at night. The French-Congolese artist and three teenagers gradually surrender to the music’s rhythm, their bodies increasingly animated in the confined space.

Penetticobra drew from personal memories: “I used to sit in my parent’s car, parked in the garage, and blast songs at full volume.” This simple concept captures that universal experience of finding musical escape within limited space – the car becoming “a physically and sonically isolated bubble, outside of time.”
