Fiona-Lee – To Make Me Feel Good

Fiona-Lee’s “To Make Me Feel Good” is a teaser for her debut EP Nothing Compares To Nineteen—turns body-image battles into indie-pop catharsis. Produced by The Maccabees’ Hugo White, the track builds from hushed confessions to soaring choruses, all while Fiona-Lee’s vocals walk the line between vulnerability and defiance. Written during a low point in 2021, it’s a middle finger to seeking validation in all the wrong places (looking at you, social media). The EP, out March 7, took three years to shape, with Fiona-Lee scrapping half-baked tracks as she evolved from basement-dwelling newbie to Capitol Records’ alt-pop hope. Raw? Yes. Relatable? Painfully so.
