Benefits feat. Shakk – Divide

Benefits’ “Divide” is a sonic Molotov cocktail hurled at societal fractures. The Teesside duo’s latest, featuring rapper Shakk, merges punk’s raw fury with Berghain-level basslines, creating a rave where chaos and protest collide. Off their sophomore album Constant Noise (March 21 via Invada), the track swaps their debut’s noise-punk abrasion for hyperactive electronics. Kingsley Hall’s snarling vocals and Shakk’s fiery verses dissect war, inequality, and monetized hate over beats that feel like a jackhammer on concrete. Producer James Adrian Brown layers club rhythms with industrial grit, crafting what Hall calls “dark euphoria”—a mosh pit for the apocalypse.
