Newcastle’s Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs (Pigs x7) return with “Stitches,” the second single from their forthcoming album Death Hilarious, set to release April 4 via Rocket Recordings.

Frontman Matt Baty describes “Stitches” as a deeply personal song which explores the paradox of vulnerability in a world that demands toughness.

Musically, “Stitches” delivers the band’s signature mix of Sabbathian doom, minimalist noise rock, and punishing post-metal crescendos. Producer and guitarist Sam Grant describes Death Hilarious as a departure from the immersive headphone experience of 2023’s Land of Sleeper, aiming instead for a “slap in the face” sound. The track’s cyclical riffs and layered intensity certainly hit that mark.
