Heartworms – Extraordinary Wings

South London artist Heartworms has unveiled Extraordinary Wings, the latest single from her eagerly awaited debut album, Glutton For Punishment, produced by Dan Carey and set for release on February 7 via Speedy Wunderground.

Extraordinary Wings continues the artist’s exploration of her love for military aircraft, a motif that has become a hallmark of her storytelling. Heartworms’ forthcoming album draws heavily from her personal history and memories of fractured relationships. Across its nine tracks, Glutton For Punishment embraces the discomfort of self-punishment, a recurring theme she describes as deeply compelling. “We’re all so drawn to punishing ourselves,” she notes, “and I’m always drawn to singing about it.”

Visually, Extraordinary Wings is brought to life through a video directed by frequent collaborator Gilbert Trejo, whose kaleidoscopic approach captures the eerie yet captivating mood of the song.
