Sun June returns with “41 Dollars”, a track that playfully tackles the experience of enduring one-sided conversations. Singer Laura Colwell describes it as a song about “listening to men talk”, capturing that familiar mix of empathy, frustration, and zoning out during repetitive discussions.

The band pairs this release with a demo version of “16 Riders” from their recent album “Bad Dream Jaguar”. According to Colwell, the recording process was filled with both laughter and tears, resulting in a track that turns a common social experience into something both relatable and musical.
