M(h)aol – Snare

M(h)aol releases “Snare”, their first single since signing with Merge Records. The Irish trio, spread across Dublin, Belfast, and London, tackles gender stereotypes in music through personal experience. Lead vocalist and drummer Constance Keane shares her frustration about society’s reaction to women drummers, drawing from conversations since her first drum lesson at age nine.

The band continues their DIY approach, with Jamie Hyland handling the technical aspects while working on their upcoming 2025 album.
