Abdomen – Yes, I don’t Know

Dutch power trio Abdomen announced their sophomore album, “Yes, I Don’t Know”, set for release via FatCat Records on February 21st, 2025. The title track is a powerful introduction to their evolution since 2016’s “Emetophobia”.

Recorded over two years in Denmark at Tapetown Studio, the album showcases their refined approach to noise rock. Drummer Roel Meijer describes the title track as “a reflection of being caught in an insurmountable struggle, where tension builds without resolution.

The band, consisting of Peter van Beets (vocals/guitar), Roel Meijer (drums), and Ate Kamsma (bass), has moved beyond their “angry” reputation to explore themes of emotional acceptance and healing, while maintaining their signature intensity.
