Michael Kiwanuka – Lowdown (Part I & II)

Michael Kiwanuka is back with two new tracks, “Lowdown (Part I)” and “Lowdown (Part II),” accompanied by a video directed by Blackwall. These songs, along with the previously released “Floating Parade,” will be part of Kiwanuka’s upcoming album “Small Changes,” set to drop on November 15 via Polydor Records. This new project, produced with Danger Mouse and Inflo, features collaborations with bass legend Pino Palladino and Jimmy Jam. “Lowdown (Part I)” brings a soulful, bass-driven sound, while “Part II” showcases Kiwanuka’s signature psychedelic strings and extended guitar solos. The album follows his Mercury Prize-winning, Grammy-nominated self-titled work from 2019.
