Fontaines D.C. – In The Modern World

Fontaines D.C. is set to release their fourth album “Romance” today. As a final preview, they’ve shared “In The Modern World”, a slower-paced track that frontman Chatten considers his favorite from the album. The song explores the concept of a fictional throuple during an apocalyptic scenario, showcasing the band’s ability to tackle unusual themes.

The accompanying video for “In The Modern World”, directed by Luna Carmoon and starring Ewan Mitchell, adds a visual dimension to the song’s narrative. This release follows previous singles “Starburster,” “Favourite,” and “Here’s The Thing,” each demonstrating the band’s evolving sound.
