Sunglaciers – Eye to Eye
Calgary’s Sunglaciers have announced their fourth album Spiritual Content, dropping March 27 via Mothland with the lead single “Eye to Eye”. The song addresses how small differences get magnified to stoke division through social media, searching for what we have in common instead.
Produced by Resnik and Mathieu Blanchard with additional work from Chad VanGaalen (synths, vibraphone, Rhodes), the album spans nine tracks in 35 minutes. Following 2024’s Regular Nature, it mixes experimental rock, post-punk, and art rock into what the band calls “a rock and roll mosaic.” The record explores love, passion, acceptance, and perseverance through real-life stories, aiming for “a higher vibration” while disentangling from modern anxieties.
The lineup includes Resnik (vocals, guitar, synths, piano, sampling), Blanchard (drums, percussion, production), Nyssa Brown (vocals, guitar), and Kyle Crough (bass). .
