MAXO KREAM X DENZEL CURRY X JPEGMAFIA – FAKE JEEZY
Houston rapper Maxo Kream teams up with Denzel Curry and JPEGMAFIA for “Fake Jeezy,” a standalone single built on JPEGMAFIA’s manic, anxiety inducing production.
The track doesn’t play it safe. Maxo and Curry trade reckless bars over JPEGMAFIA’s production. Maxo raps about keeping “three Ks like Kim, Kourtney, Khloe” and “corporate thuggin’ like Young Jeezy,” while Curry responds with his Kardashian reference: “Bullets skimming off the top, the Kardashians.” Both rappers attack the beat with their distinct styles—Maxo’s blunt, grounded delivery against Curry’s dynamic flows and intensity.
JPEGMAFIA’s production is more straightforward than his usual experimental style, but the anxious energy remains. The beat never truly drops, keeping things unsettled throughout the track’s 2:40 runtime. Peggy doesn’t rap on the song but appears in the video, which features a giant CGI snowman fighting helicopters.
Maxo Kream released “Personification” in 2024, one of the year’s standout rap albums, followed by the Tyler, The Creator-produced single “Cracc At 15.” Denzel Curry’s upcoming album “Strictly for the Scythe” is among the most anticipated hip-hop releases of 2026.
