Geese – 100 Horses

New York’s Geese unleash “100 Horses”, the third single from their September 26th album “Getting Killed”. After “Taxes” and the leaked “Trinidad”, this track finds Cameron Winter declaring “there is only dance music in times of war” over a groove-driven foundation.

The song welcomes global collapse with dark humour: Winter sings about never smiling again, but “not to worry” since people stop smiling once they get what they’ve been begging for. It’s apocalyptic dance music with Geese’s signature absurdist bent, driven by steady rhythms and washed-out guitars.

Recorded with producer Kenneth Blume in LA, “Getting Killed” promises to “obliterate any expectations” after 2021’s “Projector” and 2023’s “3D Country”. The band describes it as examining “the wreckage of blowing up those ideas” to form their vision.

Geese kicks off their most extensive North American tour on October 10th in Vermont, wrapping with two Brooklyn Paramount shows in November. They’ve also announced 2026 UK and European dates, including five UK stops and shows across Paris, Brussels, Munich, and Prague.
