Goat & Graveyard – Light As A Feather

Goat & Graveyard – Light As A Feather

When Swedish psych-rock weirdos Goat teamed up with doomy neighbors Graveyard, no one expected a sunshine-drenched hippie revival – yet here we are. “Light As A Feather” sounds like someone spiked the communion wine at a 1969 love-in, blending Graveyard’s heavy riffage with Goat’s signature lysergic swirl.

Recorded during what must have been an exceptionally well-stocked jam session, this Record Store Day collab captures both bands at their most unbuttoned. Where Graveyard typically deals in Sabbathian gloom, they’re practically skipping through daisies. Goat’s usual tribal freakouts get softened into something approaching gospel – if your church worshipped at the altar of vintage Rolling Stones albums and questionable life choices. It’s the rare stoner rock track that might inspire movement beyond reaching for another snack.
