Chaos In The CBD – I Wanna Tell Somebody ft. Josh Milan

Chaos In The CBD, the London-based NZ brothers Louis and Ben Helliker-Hales, take a refreshing detour from their usual jazzy house sound with “I Wanna Tell Somebody.” This sun-soaked single embraces Bossa Nova rhythms, pairing traditional Brazilian percussion with gently swung piano.

Josh Milan of legendary house outfit Blaze provides the soulful vocals, his silky delivery perfectly complementing the duo’s carefully crafted backdrop. “It’s become one of our personal favourites from the album,” the brothers share, highlighting how Milan’s voice “brings an effortless air of warmth and lightness to every note.”

The track serves as the second single from their debut album “A Deeper Life,” due May 9th on their own label In Dust We Trust. This full-length represents a milestone for the duo, who relocated from Auckland to London in 2012. According to Ben, the album title references their “idyllic” New Zealand childhood, surrounded by “the sun, the sand, the sea, waterfalls, birds and fish.”
