Nadah El Shazly returns with Ghorzetein (“Two Stitches”), a hypnotic, shape-shifting piece from her upcoming album Laini Taini.

Lyrically, Ghorzetein revolves around themes of duality: two stitches, two butterflies, two words. The meaning remains open-ended, but the repetition lends a ritualistic, almost mystical quality. Nadah describes the song as a reflection on love and heartbreak, where a heart that has loved twice must also be stitched up twice.

This single marks Nadah’s first solo release since her acclaimed debut Ahwar. Now signed to One Little Independent Records, she is set to release Laini Taini, an album that promises to push her avant-garde approach even further.
