The Moonlandingz – The Sign of A Man
The Moonlandingz have returned after seven years with their new single The Sign of a Man, the first taste of their upcoming album No Rocket Required. Described as a song about “torpor unbound” and “our failure to summon up ‘care,’” The Sign of a Man delves into themes of alienation, love, and justice. The band, made up of Saoudi (Fat White Family), Adrian Flanagan (Acid Klaus), and Dean Honer (Eccentronic Research Council), continues their tradition of eccentric music.
The track is accompanied by a visually striking video, directed by Jeanie Crystal and Farry, drawing from the Bauhaus movement and choreographer Michael Clark’s work. The Moonlandingz’ signature mix of humor and chaotic energy is fully intact, making this a triumphant return.
With No Rocket Required set to release later this year via Transgressive Records, The Moonlandingz remind us why their 2017 debut Interplanetary Class Classics became a cult favorite.
