Miso Extra – Certified

Miso Extra announces her debut album Earcandy, set for release on May 16 via Transgressive Records, and shares the new single Certified. The British-Japanese artist recorded the album at Damon Albarn’s Studio 13 with Grammy-winning engineer Ricky Damian (Ezra Collective, Jorja Smith).

Certified is a seductive, multilingual synth-house track and Miso describes the song as centering on “the attempt to be seductive and the stubborn determination that comes with it.”

Reflecting on the album, Miso says, “It’s about growing through your mistakes and not being afraid to get things wrong. There are deep messages, but they’re wrapped in sweet earcandy—a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down.”
