Index For Working Musik – 2×1

London-based quintet Index For Working Musik returns with their second studio album, Which Direction Goes The Beam, set for release on April 4 via Tough Love Records. Alongside this announcement, the band unveils “2×1,” a single that sets the tone for their next chapter.

“2×1” follows the limited lathe-cut release of “Purple Born,” a track that sold out in just two minutes last November. Like Index For Working Musik’s work, “2×1” is steeped in cryptic commentary and abstract lyricism. The band offers a playful yet unsettling warning: “From the Boys from Brazil to Major Tom, we’ve been warned… beware of space cadets, cos they might end up running the world.”
