HANRY – Ether

In an intriguing development from the French music scene, Rennes-based sextet HANRY marks a significant shift in their artistic journey. Their year-long sonic exploration has culminated in “Ether”, a compelling preview of their upcoming Disruption EP, set for release on January 10, 2025, through Berlin’s Pelagic Records.

Since their 2022 debut Panorama EP, HANRY’s signature blend of post-rock foundations, warm acoustic elements, and electronic ambient textures has evolved considerably. “Ether” represents the fruits of their patient search for new sonic territories – a process that took twelve months of careful refinement and experimentation.

The band describes their latest creation as “colorless and volatile”, drawing parallels to its namesake compound – a substance that exists beyond the clouds, carrying inherent potential for transformation.
