Moreish Idols – Slouch

South London’s Moreish Idols return with “Slouch”, a deeply personal track following their Speedy Wunderground single “Pale Blue Dot”. The new release carries significant meaning, inspired by singer-guitarist Jude Lilley’s experience with Ankylosing spondylitis, an autoimmune condition affecting the spine and pelvis.

The song serves as both a reflection on adapting to chronic illness and a tribute to healthcare support. As Lilley explains: “To be told you have something for life can be daunting and scary, but you must be reminded how lucky you are when there is a system of care”.

The track comes with a striking video directed by Lau Morales, featuring Lilley in a minimal spotlight dance performance, reminiscent of Radiohead’s “Lotus Flower”.
